What is part exchange?
Part exchange (or trade-in) means using the value of your current car towards the purchase of your next one. Instead of selling privately, you hand over your old vehicle and pay the difference on the new car.
It is often the most convenient option if you want to change cars without the hassle of private sales.
How the process works at Autex Motors
Tell us about your current vehicle — make, model, year, mileage, and condition. You can submit our online trade-in form or send photos via WhatsApp for a quicker estimate.
We will assess your car and provide a valuation. If you proceed with a purchase from our stock, the agreed value is deducted from the price of your new vehicle.
Tips for the best valuation
Be honest about condition, mileage, and any damage. Clean cars with full service history typically achieve better valuations. Provide clear photos of all four corners, the interior, dashboard mileage, and any blemishes.
Valuations are subject to physical inspection — the final figure is confirmed when we see the car in person.
